About Me

Saxophonist Sarah Anne Wolkowski has been playing since she was in the seventh grade. She holds two saxophone performance degrees: a Bachelor of Music from McGill University (High Distinction) and a Master of Music from the University of Alberta. Her principle teachers include Willem Moolenbeek, Gerald Danovitch, Peter Freeman and William Street. Sarah has worked as a performer, instructor, coach, professor, clinician and adjudicator. For several years she maintained a large and active studio at the Alberta College Conservatory of Music at Grant MacEwan University. Sarah is the author of Saxophone Technique and teaches privately in Oakville, Ontario.
